    This is a practical, hands on guide to issues that effect the functioning of your brain and what environmental things happen that can make your life worse or better. It’s written to appeal to a variety of education levels and experiences and explains things in a down to earth way – very easy to understand. The book is written in a conversational manner and this lends to it’s accessibility. It was an enjoyable read. (some swear words, you shouldn’t be shocked, considering the title.)

    Down to earth, funny, and informational guide to better understanding some basics of neuro science without it flying over your head. Great for better understanding trauma and the impact it has on your brain as well as beginner coping strategies. Liberal use of the f-word which makes me happy inside!
