High Level Overview,
From that perspective, the book does offer a very high level overview of what CBT is and techniques along with some examples for some more wide known conditions that are treated with CBT (for example anxiety or eating disorders).
In terms of writing style and formatting, at times I felt the presentation was more of a marketing piece spruiking the benefits of CBT therapy rather than an informative piece of writing.
The format at times changed font and constantly switched between referring to ‘patients’ and ‘your’ somewhat confusing if this was meant as a personal self help book or a reference guide for other allied health workers.
I would have liked to be able to establish the authors professional credentials (e.g. therapist, psychologist,) which the Amazon author page or Google did not help with.
